If everything you thought to be true about Home Ownership turned out to be false, when would you want to know?

You know, it's true there are a lot of misconceptions about home ownership. A lot of missed opportunities too! That is why we've created the Home Owners Financial Education (HOFE) Institute, a nonprofit alliance comprised of a committed team of professionals in the financial and real estate industries.

Our mission is to educate our community on matters pertaining to home ownership and personal finance in an effort to create and enhance financial understanding and financial independence. There are several channels through which we attempt to educate: 

• A weekly newsletter giving valuable advice in all things financial.

• Speaking at local high schools to seniors about credit scoring and personal finance.

• Periodic classes at NWFSC taught by industry experts on tax planning, estate planning, mortgage and financial planning, role of title companies, legal issues and aspects of home ownership, and insurance needs.

• Various speaking engagements around the county.

HOFE Institute faculty have demonstrated excellence in their particular field, and all give of their time to the community to help achieve the overall mission of the HOFE Institute. You are encouraged to attend one of these classes, or request to be added to our database so you can begin to receive our valuable newsletter!

If you have ideas on subject material you would like to hear about, or have a group, class or event where you need a speaker, please let us know. Any faculty member of the HOFE Institute would be happy to accommodate.
